Sarah Harris leads the growth and strategic direction of Incite, a full-service social impact marketing firm. Incite is an Emmis Communications innovation dedicated to using marketing expertise and media access to Engage People, Inspire Belief and Incite Action.
Sarah oversees all five Incite offices in New York, Los Angeles, Austin, St. Louis and Indianapolis. Sarah’s work is dedicated to forging corporate-community alliances and developing partnerships that use marketing campaigns to generate impact for brands and clients in the communities in which Incite operates. Sarah serves as the strategic advisor on campaigns to ensure client goals are routinely exceeded. She has led numerous effective social impact marketing campaigns with public entities including California’s Deaf and Disabled Telecommunications Program, New York City Department of Health and Relay Indiana.
A pioneer of social impact marketing, Sarah applies strategic, innovative behavior change marketing expertise to Incite campaigns and serves as the lead advisor on healthcare industry campaigns, drawing on her extensive background in public sector marketing and health-related campaign work.
Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys giving back globally through participating in mission trips, local community service and thought leadership in the cause marketing industry. Sarah is a frequent speaker and presenter on cause marketing, social entrepreneurship and corporate citizenship. She was honored with the Hazelett Award for Leadership in Grantmaking (2011) and is a graduate of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series, Class 32.
Sarah is a graduate of the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University where she obtained a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies and a Master of Public Affairs in Nonprofit Management. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Arts from Butler University.
